THANKS FOR RIDING!
A huge thank you goes out to all of you who participated in the 2010 Jackson's Ride the Gorge to raise awareness of and support for Northwest Sarcoma Foundation. The weather was incredible, the routes were gorgeous and it was a wonderful day to be riding bikes in the Columbia River Gorge. The Gorge kicked up some fierce winds but you all battled them admirably. We heard from so many of you how much you loved this ride, loved the hill climbs and couldn't get enough of those sweeping mountain views and the rural landscape. Many of you told us you particularly love the 17% downgrade of a hill into the patchwork valley just outside of Pine Grove.

To all of you who conquered 7 Mile Hill: Congratulations! That was no small feat and you rocked it.

Over 300 people rode their bikes to honor the legacy of Jackson Hill, a valiant fighter and a young boy who lost his life to sarcoma. Jackson loved riding his bike and being in the Columbia River Gorge and those of you who rode created a wonderful pedaling tribute in one of the most gorgeous regions of the country.

THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
A huge thank you goes out to the 70 people who volunteered to make Jackson's Ride the Gorge possible. These generous people served breakfast, helped you register in the morning, unloaded and loaded trucks, staffed rest stops and yes, some of them dressed in their hula finest.

Way to go, volunteers!

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS

We would like to thank the sponsors of Jackson's Ride the Gorge. Without their support, this ride would not have been possible.

The Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum(WAAAM) provided a great location for the start and finish lines. Next time you're in Hood River with family and friends, pay them a visit.

We thank Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital and their support of the 2010 Jackson's Ride the Gorge.

Full Sail Brewery generously donated the beer for the event. We hope you enjoyed the Full Sail IPA and the Full Sail Amber.

Did you get a taste of the delicious fresh apple cider at the finish line? All this juice was donated to Jackson's Ride the Gorge by the Hood River Juice Company, located just around the corner from WAAAM.

Pro Truck Lines is a huge supporter of Jackson's Ride the Gorge and donated the use of a large box truck for the event.

Discover Bicycles and Bike Tires Direct supported all the riders of Jackson's Ride the Gorge with their mechanic support at the start line and along the course.

Thanks to all the sponsors who provided fun, on-course snacks: Gorge Delights, Larabar, Chocolate #9 and Hammer Nutrition.
