Hike Features and Details
You don't need to be a cyclist to participate in Jackson's Ride the Gorge! We also have hike options for those of you who want to get out and explore the Columbia River Gorge on two legs. This region is well known
for its many glorious hiking options, and we'll offer you some of the best as you explore with an experienced hiking guide.
TWO GORGEOUS TRAIL OPTIONS
3.4 MILE - LOST LAKE: A family friendly 3.4-mile loop (100 feet elevation gain) around a beautiful lake on the upper reaches of Mt Hood. Stroll through magnificent old-growth forest and enjoy breathtaking views
of Mt Hood. Stay another hour and rent a canoe or take a dip in the crystal clear (and invigorating!) water. This hike has an optional, and more challenging, hike up Lost Lake Butte with 3.8 miles
round trip and 1800 feet of elevation gain. On a clear day, the hiker is rewarded with stunning views of Mt Hood, Adams and Rainier.
This hike option requires a 45 minute drive from the start location to reach the trailhead.
